For the past three and a half years, I’ve had the great honor of serving the people of Harrison County, Texas as Harrison County Judge. I want to thank you for all you do to make Harrison County a better place to live and work, and for the kindness you’ve shown to me, my wife, Christina, and our family.
I’m running for re-election as Harrison County Judge and I’d like to ask you for your vote and support in the November 2, 2010 election.
This website is designed to provide information to help inform your vote by sharing with you some of the progress that has been made for our county since I took office as County Judge in January, 2007.
I appreciate your time in reading this information and I invite you, your friends, and family members to continue to visit this website, as it will be updated and expanded throughout the coming weeks and months.
I love my home county of Harrison County very much and I feel humbled and blessed to have the strong support of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike. I believe this is because people know that, as a public servant, my commitment is always to building community and to ensuring that our citizens have honest, well-managed, fiscally conservative leadership that focuses on bringing people together to get good things done for our county now and in the future.
Thank you again for taking the time to read the County Progress Report. I believe that, looking at these and other improvements since 2007, you’ll see that significant progress has been made with regard to the parallel goals of strengthening the county’s finances, keeping the county tax rate low, while also improving public safety, law enforcement, fire protection, infrastructure, and county services.
My wife, Christina, and I wish to express our deep appreciation for the kind words, letters, phone calls, visits, and contributions made by so many friends and supporters with regard to my re-election campaign and we appreciate the friendship you have shown us and our family through the years.
